We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated professional to fulfil the position of Flight Dispatcher (FOO).
Featuring among the duties associated with the position:
Global IFR/VFR, short range and ultra-long rage EROPS / ETOPS flight planning in compliance with 2 AOC’s, flight safety and flight planning laws.
Flight feasibility checks.
Coordinating airport slots and prior permissions.
Arranging handling/fuel/VIP and additional lavatory, water, towing, GPU, ASU equipment for the aircraft as necessary.
Arranging over flight/landing permissions globally.
Managing passenger details and arranging customs and immigration services as required for example EAPIS.
Reading and analyze FIR/Enroute/Station Notams, TAF and METAR in the preparation and final dispatch stage of flight planning and acting accordingly should they affect.
Arranging additional insurance coverage for aircraft operating into and out of places/countries on coverage exclusion lists and have UN sanctions against them.
Maintaining watch of worldwide traffic flow and planning accordingly.
Updating crew of slots that may be incurred due to European Central flow management.
Worldwide Weather monitoring.
Geopolitics and security monitoring.
Crew briefings prepration
Successful applicants are required to have:
Must have high school diploma or general education degree (GED) or higher education
Minimum 2 years of experience of working in a Dispatch department
Knowledge of regulations and requirements.
A highly process driven approach to problem solving.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Proven record as a ‘Team Player’.
Willingness to work to objectives set by the Head of OCC
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays
Fluency in English (written and spoken)
Ability to work under high pressure
EU national or eligible to work and reside in Europe
Holds a valid Dispatch License.
